The interactive performance Tigerbussen kommer! is the story of the Tigerbussen and the acting troupe that follows it. The Tigerbussen is a living tiger that has a theater inside its belly. It is the protector of the Oslo children and carries their stories in its heart. Actors from the Tigerstadsteatret and Det Andre Teatret together created an interactive and innovative experience for children from 6–2 years old. The performance was performed outside and inside the trailer, where audience groups of thirty people at a time were allowed to join in.

Tigerbussen kommer! was a pilot project supported by the Arts Council of Norway and the Municipality of Oslo. Tigerbussen was a completely new way of creating and touring theatre for children.

From April 20 to June 12, 2018, we performed in places with high rates of child poverty, where children have little or no access to cultural experiences. The project was a collaboration with Redd Barna, Det Andre Teatret and Oslo Nye Teater.
