The jungle
An all-encompassing performance for young people. Performed at Trikkestallen in collaboration with Oslo Nye Teater and DKS in Oslo.
The Jungle is the story of Norway after climate collapse and the British invasion. Europe has become a desert, Scandinavia has become a mutated acid jungle, and Oslo as we know it has disappeared.
With The Jungle , we are inspired by the dramaturgy of computer games. A group of young people are sent into the future and taken on a mission in a jungle ravaged by war and conflict. The audience moves through an all-encompassing scenography where they witness division, doubt and rebellion.
The Jungle is the third performance in Tigerstadsteatret and Oslo Nye Teater's youth initiative at Trikkestallen. The performance Ingenting by Janne Teller won the Hedda Prize for best youth performance in 2019, and in the fall of 2021 we performed Ungdomsskolen by Anders Kvammen in collaboration with DKS Oslo.
The Jungle is a co-production between Tigerstadsteatret, Oslo Nye Teater and Den Kulturelle Skolesekken in Oslo.
New premiere is May 13, 2022 at Trikkestallen, Torshov. Age limit is 13 years .

The jungle is designed specifically with infection control in mind, and is therefore adapted to cohorts and school classes.
NB: Vær oppmerksom på at forestillingen har krigstematikk, hvor det benyttes sterke virkemidler som røyk og lyd av skudd. Publikum beveger seg rundt inne i forestillingen.
Publikumsvakter er tilgjengelig dersom man har behov for assistanse underveis. Deler av forestillingen spilles på engelsk. Dersom du har spesielle behov for tilpasning, adkomst med rullestol, behov for ledsager eller annet, er det viktig at vi får beskjed på forhånd.
The performance is suitable for teenagers and young adults. Age limit 13 years.

The performance premiered on November 6, 2020 at Trikkestallen in Oslo, but due to corona restrictions, the performance never met an audience this fall.
